We give you opportunities! You serve Community.
LoYAC requires students enrolled in any of their programs to participate in a community service program. This helps to create a culture of volunteerism and to instill in the students a sense of responsibility towards their community and country .Students are required to perform a minimum of 18 hours per program. The following are some of LoYAC’s community service partners:
- Tikyyet Um Ali
- Children’s Museum
- Haya Cultural Center
- Al-Nasher
- Al-Ruwwad Center
- Solders’ Families Welfare Society
- Iraq Al Amir Women’s Association
- Jordan Breast Cancer Center
Feedback from partners:
“The interns were passionate; they wanted to help and to give, they were responsible, some of them showed a strong sense of commitment .They really helped us in organizing the children. I relied on some of them (Wael and Wardeh) 100 %, they were more than volunteers they were colleagues!”
Mohammad Abu Rubb - Volunteer Supervisor at Haya Cultural Center
