| LoYAC Jordan - Other Activities |
- The opening ceremony for Jerash Festival:
Some interns participated in the opening ceremony of Jerash Festival 2011 through performing the song "I love Jordan". This was a great opportunity for LoyAC’s interns to perform in Jordan's top festival and in front of hundreds of people.
- Drive to Read:
Many interns participated in the activities of "Drive to read", helping in facilitating and organizing the activities for the children to enhance their interest in reading. The interns volunteered with Drive to read in several locations such as: Zarqa and Khrebet Al-Souq.
- Madrasati:
Some interns supported Madrasati in enhancing the infrastructure of some school, painting walls and some other activities with the schools students. The schools were in Salt, Jerash and Al-Ashrafie.
- Community Service in Ajlun Reserve:
King Abdullah Fund for Development KAFD organized a community service journey to Ajloun reserve where LoYAC interns escorted some American high school students who came to Jordan to learn Arabic, the journey included an orientation and site visit in the reserve, cleaning the facilities, a discussion of Jordanian traditions, food and other cultural information.
