K4K (Kuwait for Kenya)
was founded by Nadia Al Ghadiri one of our Outstanding student
as a proactive choice after a 5 week volunteer
placement in Mombassa , Kenya.
The volunteer team of K4K traveled to Mombasa, Kenya to carry out the projects earmarked for 2009. The team built a dining facility complete with kitchen and storage for the Child Development Center which is a primary school for disadvantaged children, equipped the HIV / AIDS Clinic of YCC with ELISA test machine and provided Goodwill Academy with 45 desks and tables for the students.
