LoYAC sent Faisal Al Bahairi to participate in an international piano training workshop held in Poland in July 2009. Faisal was chosen for this unique opportunity after his excellent performances with LoYAC Musical group.

The course helped me greatly musically. I will show you what I learned:

1- I have learned to be very patient when it comes to music.
2- Music piece is like a society, and notes are its people, we should never neglect anyone in the society.
3- If I cannot sing the main melody, then there is a problem with my playing.
4- Music is all about having three things, each one of them is as important as the other "Idea, Image, and Technique".
5- Music is not a physical thing, and it is not a mental thing, it is a combination of both.
6- I do not have to press the keys to make the sound come; I just press the keys and it sings.
7- I have learned to always use my imagination.
8- I have learned to have an idea about the piece I want to play.
9- I have learned to understand what I play.
10- I have learned to respect all the composers and all the musical pieces.
11- I have learned very little jazz and blues basics.
12- I have perfected Chopin's Mazurka op.67, no.4.
13- I have learned a new piece "Rachmaninov's Prelude in G minor op.23, no.5.
