Lothan Youth Achievements Center (LoYAC) organized a Ramadan Ghabqa for centers for Special needs sponsored by Dow Chemicals at Discovery Mall in Kuwait City. In attendance were over 100 guests from the Kuwait Co-op for the care of the disabled, the Down syndrome center, the Paradise Institute, and the Al Khurafi center for the disabled. Also in attendance was the General Manager of Dow Chamicals, Mr. JamelAttal  and Public Affairs Manager Mr. Sager Al Ben Ali, as well as Chairperson of LoYAC Mrs. Fareah Al Saqqaf, and LoYAC Board Member Mrs. Futooh Al Dalali.

The second annual event was a display of LoYAC and Dow Chemicals continued dedication towards the centers for special needs within the Kuwaiti community.
Mr. JamelAttal made a speech in which he thanked LoYAC for their honorable work in the development of youth talents and abilities and for their tireless efforts in volunteerism. Mr. Attalstressed Dow’s commitment towards LoYAC and the growth of the Dow-LoYAC partnership. Mr. Attal also mentioned Dow’s 15 years of success in Kuwait and their several new projects including a new co-operation with Equate.

Mrs. Fareah Al Saqqaf thanked Dow Chemicals for the sponsorship of this event and for the strategic partnership between Dow Chemicals and LoYAC which has allowed for the continued development of Kuwait’s youth as well as the benefit of the centers for special needs.
The Ghabqa/Girgian party comprised of several setpieces, including a magician, a show from Mad Science, a traditional skirt dance, puppet theatre to name a few, as well as face-painting and henna as well as games and gifts presented by Dow Chemicals and distributed by Mr. JamelAttal.
