This program incites Kuwaiti youth to excel in the field of Hotel Management. Eligible Students are provided with scholarships In specialized Universities abroad.

Samah Abdullah Jafar Graduated with Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management

LoYAC sent Samah Abdullah Jafar to the Lebanese American University on scholarship in Lebanon. She successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

And being given this opportunity by LoYAC is priceless. In Lebanon I received not only an education but lessons in life that will last me an eternity. I enrolled in Lebanese American University in late 2004, during which political turmoil ’s in Lebanon were rising; although various wars and political struggles broke out I stood my ground and decided to continue with my education all the while LoYAC giving me their full support.

During my university years, I was exposed to various cultures and backgrounds and learnt how a little empathy can bring people of different backgrounds together making us live together in harmony. Academically, I built a hotelier's foundation and learnt the complete works of multinational hotels. It was hard; the deadlines were stressful and short. Yet it is all worth it in the end, knowing what you have achieved will last you a lifetime. This opportunity would in no way be possible if it were not for LoYAC and especially Ms. Farea Al Saqaf and Ms. Mona Al Kalouti and all those who made this possible.
