LoYAC held its annual function to award summer program certificates to more than 400 participants. The event was sponsored by Shell through its international road safety awareness campaign and attended by Formula 3 champion and Ambassador to the United Nations for Roads Safety, Basel Shaaban.

Basel Shaaban then spoke about road safety, the importance of wearing seat belts, and using child car seats.Shaaban then presented 40 outstanding students with trophies and souvenirs that were donated by Shell.
