LoYAC was invited to participate @ UNHABITAT's 2-day workshop in Kuwait on October 5th, 2009. The workshop discussed future planning trends and sustainable cities. The workshop was sponsored by The Ministry of Public Works and State for Municipality Affairs. Several experts in the fields of development participated and presentations were delivered from many organizations like Kuwait Police Department, State for Municipality Affairs, and Public Authority for Housing Welfare.

Mr. Dari AlHuwail presented on LoYAC's role in building future leaders and its active role in building safer and sustainable cities and communities. Mr. AlHuwail talked about LoYAC's different programs including the Summer Program; Service is my Joy, Homes Committee, Kuwait for Kenya (K4K), and his own personal growth Journey through LoYAC's programs. Participants, including session chairs, were pleased with the presentation and lauded LoYAC's efforts.
